Return shipping labels
A return shipping label is just a prepaid label whose recipient is the original seller (or you). You still need honest weight and size. Oshippy does not replace a marketplace’s built-in return portal — it creates a USPS or UPS label when you are buying postage yourself.
When to use Oshippy for a return
- The marketplace or shop did not give you a prepaid label.
- You are the seller sending a replacement or accepting a return to your own address.
- You want to compare USPS and UPS instead of walking up to a counter.
When to stay in the marketplace tool
If eBay, Etsy, Amazon, or your shop already issued a return label and seller protection depends on using it, use that label. A second Oshippy label is a second postage purchase.
How to create the return label
- Sender = the person who currently has the package.
- Recipient = the address it should go back to.
- Pack the item the way it will actually travel (not the original empty air).
- Compare live rates, pay, print. Same flow as online shipping labels.
Keep the return cheap
Returns are still parcels. Right-size the pack, confirm weight, and skip unused Priority. See cheap shipping labels and how to reduce shipping costs.
